New World Bible Translation Committee

September 7, 2017

7 Sept. 2017 C.E., Thomson from – Australia, (is) informed, publishing (a) weekly blog on https://newworldbibletranslationcommittee.com/ … may increase the prominence of the website … on ‘Google’. / A website [it] expands on what’s blogged (here).

24 years — Thomson (has) been searching for (a) contact for the “New World Bible Translation Committee (NWBTC)”, its, [former members]. The greatest literary enigma, the world, (has), known.

Why would (a) group of ‘international biblical scholars’1 take c. 40 years -to- translate arguably what [is] the most difficult thing, the scriptures — from their original ancient languages into English; too @ the ‘New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures’ (NWT), 1984 C.E. completion, then disappear from the face of the earth? Is what it’s translators, did.

A translation, circulation of c. 215 million copies, distribut[ed] in 100 nations, [went out of print in 2013 C.E.] now appears online @ https://wol.jw.org/en/wol/binav/r1/lp-e/Rbi8/E/1984. Though for some strange reason, the committee’s name, is removed from the online version’s Foreword, as if – to airbrush them from history.

And of the millions of, ‘NWT’, readers, it’s translators have had contact with not 1 of them. They (the translators) only, ever (had), a exchange with (a) biblical critic … queried some of the translating … and the NWBTC subsequently answered the critic (-by-) a letter to the editor of the ‘magazine’, in which the critic’s queries, were published.2

Key phrases: “New World Bible Translation Committee [former member’s] New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures as key evidence in a potential Australian legal case etc.” …
